Much Wenlock Town Council is pleased to announce that 10 High Street in Much Wenlock, the former Barclays Bank premises, has been let to a new tenant. Trevor and Michelle Smart of Priory Vets Much Wenlock Ltd have taken on the lease to open a new veterinary practice in the town.
The Mayor of Much Wenlock, Councillor Marcus Themans, said: “Councillors are delighted to have reached an agreement with Priory Vets for the tenancy of 10 High Street. We are pleased to welcome Trevor and Michelle Smart to the town and believe the new service will be a benefit to the town and local community. We look forward to seeing the premises take shape and wish Priory Vets every success with their business.”
Trevor and Michelle are thrilled to be opening their new veterinary practice in the charming town of Much Wenlock, following their successful tenure in the Welsh/Herefordshire Borders. After relocating to Shropshire and settling into the community, they are eager to bring their expertise and passion for animal care to the area.
Trevor Smart expressed their commitment, stating, “We are dedicated to providing affordable veterinary services to the local community and surrounding regions. As an independent practice, we pride ourselves on offering continuity of care and easy access to various services. Additionally, we will be managing our own out-of-hours care. We look forward to building lasting relationships with both the people and pets we serve and are excited to become a welcoming presence on the High Street.”
Over the next few months, the new occupants will be fitting out the premises and getting ready to open the doors to furry and feathered customers. Priory Vets hope to begin seeing animal patients by mid-June.
