THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS ROADS, MUCH WENLOCK) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2020
Shropshire Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46 and 49, and Part IV of Schedule 9 and having regard to Section 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act of 1984) as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984, hereby makes the following Order.
- This order shall come into operation on 6 June 2020 and may be cited as The Shropshire Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2009 (Various Roads, Much Wenlock) (Amendment) Order 2020.
- The following sides of roads in Much Wenlock are hereby added to Schedule 1.01 (No Waiting At Any Time) of The Shropshire Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2009:
A4169 Much Wenlock to Buildwas road (both sides)
C-Class road leading to Homer (both sides)
C-Class road leading to Sheinton (both sides)
From a point 88 metres south of the junction leading to Homer to a point 22 metres north-east of the eastern arm of the junction leading to Sheinton
From the junction with the A4169 for a distance of 10 metres in a north-westerly direction
From both its junctions with the A4169 to a point 96 metres north of the easterly junction with the A4169
3. The prohibitions and restrictions imposed by this Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation from any restriction or requirement imposed by any regulation made or having effect as if made under the Act or by or under any other enactment.
