Two new trees have recently been planted at Much Wenlock Cemetery. These have replaced the cherry trees with rotten limbs which were next to the highway. The new trees are a purple flowering crab apple, and a bee-bee tree, which is a rare tree known for attracting bees, butterflies, etc. The cherry trees had to be removed in the interest of safety as they had little in the way of healthy growth and were overhanging the road. The replacement trees were donated by Joffrey Watson, who carried out the work with his team.
